Or Not.

All flights to New York were canceled on Saturday. What I thought was a horrible incident may have been a blessing in disguise. Instead, I have been able to enjoy beautiful SoCal weather, meet some really nice people, have a job interview or 3, and see Hot Tub Time Machine.

I've managed to do a bit more work with Patty and All Girl Skate Jam, and am getting some work done on the kini website as well. It is amazing how much easier it is to work on sites when I'm not trying to work on 5 other things as well. But I will state, this weather is incredibly distracting.

So I'm a little sad that I didn't get to go to the MET, but I did get to see a really horrible band at the HOB, hang out at 2 loft parties, go on a very silly "date" with a former child star who will remain anonymous, and have some very educational job interview experiences.

I state these job interviews as experiences in that I'm out of shape in the interview world, my resume is in the process of getting up to date, I had to wear jeans to the interview since I really don't own anything else, and it was great being asked the questions that really make me think. So maybe I'm out of shape a bit when it comes to describing my background, but it does feel great to be doing it again. I've got the skills, now I just need to figure out how to convey that properly.

But alas, I do have to go back to Mammoth and end my vacation (I just realized how silly that sounds). Back to skiing, working, and trying to do everything else in the 3 hours I seem to have left over every day.
